How to use: EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n ÷ [(1+r)^n − 1], where r is the monthly rate (annual ÷ 12 ÷ 100) and n is the number of months. Each month, interest = opening balance × r, principal = EMI − interest, and closing balance reduces by the principal. The final balance should reach ₹0. Use the interest column for the deductible-interest figure in your books.
