Eligibility & Classification

  • ☐ Enterprise type confirmed (manufacturing / services)
  • ☐ Investment in plant, machinery or equipment computed
  • ☐ Annual turnover determined
  • ☐ Micro / Small / Medium category identified

Identity Documents

  • ☐ Aadhaar of proprietor / managing partner / authorised signatory
  • ☐ PAN of the enterprise (or proprietor)
  • ☐ Mobile number linked to Aadhaar for OTP
  • ☐ Email address for registration correspondence

Business Details

  • ☐ GSTIN, if the business is GST-registered
  • ☐ Bank account number and IFSC
  • ☐ Business commencement date
  • ☐ Number of employees
  • ☐ NIC code(s) for business activity

Registration Steps

  • ☐ Aadhaar verified via OTP on Udyam portal
  • ☐ PAN and GST auto-validation completed
  • ☐ Investment and turnover fetched / declared
  • ☐ Udyam Registration Number (URN) generated
  • ☐ Udyam certificate downloaded and saved

Post-Registration

  • ☐ Details updated on changes in investment / turnover
  • ☐ MSME benefits (priority lending / subsidies) explored
  • ☐ Delayed-payment protection under MSMED Act noted

Note: Udyam registration is free and self-declared; one enterprise files a single Udyam registration even if it has multiple activities or units.
