- Including sports apparatus and equipment that are necessary for the practice of various sports and which normally have no other specific purpose, such as footballs, skis and tennis rackets, excluding all other sporting objects classified in other classes and subclasses according to other functions (for example, canoes, boats (Class 12-06), air guns (Class 22-01), mats for sports (Class 6- 11)).
- Including, subject to the reservation mentioned under a., training equipment, and apparatus and equipment necessary for outdoor games.

Filing in India
Using Class 21-02 in a Design Application
The Designs Office classifies articles by the current edition of the Locarno Classification (rule 10(1), Designs Rules, 2001). The application in Form 1 must state the class and the article to which the design is applied.
- Name the article in the words of the list where they fit, and give the class and subclass.
- One application covers one class. To register the same design in another class of article, file a separate application in that class.
- If the class is in doubt, the Controller decides it, in consultation with the applicant where required.
