Subject: Reply in Form GST DRC-06 to summary of Show Cause Notice in Form DRC-01

Respected Sir/Madam,

We, [Name of Taxpayer], holding GSTIN [GSTIN], acknowledge the summary of show cause notice in Form GST DRC-01 read with Section [73/74] of the CGST Act, 2017, proposing a demand of Rs. [Amount] towards tax, interest and penalty for the period [Tax Period].

We respectfully submit that the demand is not sustainable. The tax liability for the said period has been correctly discharged and the input tax credit availed is eligible and duly reconciled, as evidenced by the enclosed working, tax invoices and electronic credit/cash ledger extracts.

In view of the above, we pray that the proposed demand be dropped and no order under Section 73/74 be passed. We further request an opportunity of personal hearing before finalisation of the matter.

Yours faithfully,

___
