1. That my client was/is employed with your establishment as [designation] at an agreed monthly salary of Rs. [Amount].

2. That the salary/wages for the period [months] amounting to Rs. [Amount] has not been paid to my client, despite the work having been duly rendered and despite repeated demands.

3. That such withholding of earned wages is illegal and constitutes an unauthorised deduction under the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, entitling my client to recover the arrears with compensation.

4. You are hereby called upon to pay the outstanding salary of Rs. [Amount] within 15 days of receipt of this notice, failing which my client shall file a claim before the Authority under the Payment of Wages Act / competent court for recovery, at your entire risk as to costs.
