Retainer Agreement

An agreement retaining a professional or consultant on an ongoing basis for a fixed monthly fee.

RETAINER AGREEMENT

This Agreement is made on [Date] between [Client Name], having its office at [Address] ("Client"), and [Retainer Name], having its address at [Address] ("Retainer").

  1. Engagement. The Client retains the Retainer to provide [Description of Services] on an ongoing basis with effect from [Effective Date].
  2. Term. This Agreement shall remain in force for [Number] months and shall renew on mutual agreement.
  3. Scope. The Retainer shall provide the agreed services and be available for up to [Number] hours per month; additional work shall be billed separately.
