Apprenticeship Agreement

APPRENTICESHIP AGREEMENT

This Agreement is made on [Date] between [Establishment Name], having its office at [Address] ("Establishment"), and [Apprentice Name], residing at [Address] ("Apprentice").

1. Engagement. The Establishment engages the Apprentice for training in the trade of [Trade/Skill] under the Apprentices Act, 1961, with effect from [Effective Date].
2. Training Period. The apprenticeship shall be for a period of [Number] months as per the prescribed training schedule.
3. Stipend. The Establishment shall pay a monthly stipend of Rs. [Amount] as per the rates notified under the Act.
4. Obligations of Apprentice. The Apprentice shall learn the trade diligently, observe discipline, attend regularly and follow the instructions of the trainer.
5. Obligations of Establishment. The Establishment shall provide the prescribed training, facilities and a qualified trainer.
6. No Employment. The apprenticeship is a training arrangement and does not constitute employment; the Apprentice is not entitled to employee benefits.
7. Confidentiality. The Apprentice shall maintain confidentiality of all information accessed during training.
8. Completion Certificate. On successful completion and passing the assessment, the Apprentice shall be issued a certificate.
9. Termination. The agreement may be terminated as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction. This Agreement is governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at [City].
11. Dispute Resolution. Disputes shall be referred to the Apprenticeship Adviser or arbitration seated at [City].
