Photography / Videography Agreement

A photography and videography agreement engaging a studio to cover an event and deliver edited photos and videos on agreed terms.

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY AGREEMENT

This Photography / Videography Agreement is made on [Date] between [Party A Name], having its studio at [Address] ("Photographer"), and [Party B Name], residing at [Address] ("Client").

  1. Engagement. The Client engages the Photographer to cover [Event / Occasion] on [Event Date] at [Venue], with effect from the Effective Date.
  2. Deliverables. The Photographer shall deliver [Number] edited photographs and [Number] minutes of edited video, along with raw files as agreed.
  3. Package Fee. The total package fee is Rs. [Amount], inclusive/exclusive of GST, covering the shoot, editing and delivery.
  4. Advance & Payment. The Client shall pay an advance of [Percentage]% on booking, with the balance due before delivery of the final output.
  5. Delivery Timeline. Edited deliverables shall be provided within [Number] days of the event via [Medium, e.g. USB / online gallery].
  6. Copyright & Usage. The Photographer retains copyright in the works; the Client is granted a licence for personal use. The Photographer may use select images for portfolio/promotion unless the Client opts out.
  7. Reshoot. The Photographer is not liable for shots missed due to circumstances beyond control; a reshoot, if feasible, shall be mutually arranged.
  8. Client Cooperation. The Client shall provide access, a shot list and necessary permissions at the venue.
  9. Cancellation. On cancellation, the advance shall be forfeited; date changes are subject to availability.
  10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction. This Agreement shall be governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City].
