A catering services agreement engaging a caterer to supply food and service for an event on an agreed menu, guest count and rate.

CATERING SERVICES AGREEMENT

This Catering Services Agreement is made on [Date] between [Party A Name], having its office at [Address] ("Caterer"), and [Party B Name], residing/having office at [Address] ("Client").

  1. Engagement. The Client engages the Caterer to provide catering services for [Event / Function] on [Event Date] at [Venue], with effect from the Effective Date.
  2. Menu & Guest Count. The Caterer shall serve the agreed menu for an estimated [Number] guests; the final guest count shall be confirmed [Number] days before the event.
  3. Charges. The rate shall be Rs. [Amount] per plate/head, totalling approximately Rs. [Amount], plus applicable GST.
  4. Advance & Payment. The Client shall pay an advance of [Percentage]% on signing, with the balance payable on/before the day of the event.
  5. Service Staff. The Caterer shall provide adequate trained service staff, utensils and serving arrangements for the event.
  6. Hygiene & Compliance. The Caterer warrants that food shall be fresh, hygienically prepared and compliant with FSSAI and applicable food safety norms.
  7. Setup & Timing. The Caterer shall complete setup by [Time] and serve as per the agreed schedule.
  8. Leftovers & Wastage. Handling of surplus food shall be as mutually agreed, with the Caterer following safe disposal practices.
  9. Cancellation. On cancellation by the Client, the advance and non-recoverable procurement costs shall be forfeited/payable as agreed.
  10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction. This Agreement shall be governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City].
