GST refund का सीधा मतलब
GST एक chain की तरह चलता है। कारोबारी खरीदारी पर GST देता है (input tax), बिक्री पर GST लेता है (output tax), और दोनों का � ंतर सरकार को जमा करता है। खरीद पर दिया गया GST उसके electronic credit ledger में ITC के रूप में जमा होता है।

- माल या सेवा export होती है, जिस पर GST नहीं लगता, पर खरीद पर GST दिया गया है।

उदाहरण 1: Export करने वाली कंपनी
(केवल समझाने के लिए आँकड़े) एक IT कंपनी LUT के तहत विदेशी clients को सेवा देती है, इसलिए उन पर GST नहीं लगाती। एक quarter में:
- ITC (inputs और input services पर): ₹5,00,000
- Export turnover: ₹80,00,000
- कुल adjusted total turnover: ₹1,00,00,000
Rule 89(4) के हिसाब से refund = 5,00,000 × 80,00,000 ÷ 1,00,00,000 = ₹4,00,000। बाकी ₹1,00,000 देश में हुई बिक्री से जुड़ा है, जो आगे के GST में adjust होगा।
उदाहरण 2: Inverted duty
(केवल समझाने के लिए) एक manufacturer का Net ITC (सिर्फ inputs पर) ₹1,80,000 है, input services पर ITC ₹20,000, बिक्री ₹10,00,000 (यही adjusted total turnover), और बिक्री पर tax ₹50,000।
Refund = (10,00,000 × 1,80,000 ÷ 10,00,000) − [50,000 × (1,80,000 ÷ 2,00,000)] = 1,80,000 − 45,000 = ₹1,35,000।

GST refund कैसे मिलता है? Step by step
- Category चुनें और Rule 89 के �
नुसार statements और documents तैयार करें। ITC वही claim होगा जो GSTR-2B में दिख रहा हो।
- GST portal पर login करके RFD-01 file करें। Credit वाले refund में claim की रकम credit ledger से debit होती है।
- Officer 15 दिन के भीतर RFD-02 (acknowledgement) या RFD-03 (deficiency memo) जारी करता है (Rule 90)।
- Export और SEZ जैसी zero-rated supply पर 90% provisional refund RFD-04 में मिलता है। 01.10.2025 से Rule 91(2) के तहत यह acknowledgement के 7 दिन के भीतर, system-based risk evaluation के आधार पर जारी होता है। ज़्यादा risk वाले मामलों में officer कारण दर्ज करके इसे रोक सकता है।
- पूरी application मिलने के 60 दिन के भीतर final order RFD-06 (s.54(7))।
- Payment order RFD-05 के बाद पैसा आपके PFMS-validated bank account में आता है।

Time limit कितनी है?
