In 30 seconds

  • e-Inspection and e-Certified Copy services launched on 12 August 2026.
  • Part of NCLT’s digital work with the revamped website and e-Courts 2.0.
  • 78 resolution plans approved in April–June 2026, involving about ₹5,517.66 crore.
  • Detailed guidelines on registration and listing of cases have been issued in consultation with the Bar.

What has started

The National Company Law Tribunal launched its e-Inspection and e-Certified Copy services on 12 August 2026. NCLT President Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal inaugurated them through video conferencing. He said the services are intended to give advocates, litigants and other stakeholders convenient and faster access to judicial records and certified copies.

Pendency measures mentioned

  • A data-driven mechanism now monitors pendency across Benches; workload was reviewed and redistributed and Special Benches were constituted where required.
  • 78 resolution plans were approved during April–June 2026 — described as the highest first-quarter performance since the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code was enacted — involving approximately ₹5,517.66 crore.
  • Guidelines on registration and listing of cases have been issued in consultation with the Bar.

The release does not give the fee or the step-by-step procedure for the two services; those are on the NCLT website.
